The school runs U.11 Rugby Team which plays a number of friendly matches against other Swansea schools. They compete in the S.S.R.U ( Swansea schools Rugby Union ) U.11 cup Competition and various tournaments in the district. Cwm Glas boys have regalary represented Swansea School boys, with a number having gone on to going international honours. Training is on a monday lunch time.

Cwm Glas endorses the Dragon sport philosophy of Net ball, where children are encouraged to participate in a range of activities aimed to improve Net ball skills.
