Dear Children and Staff
I have had a wonderful morning today, visiting your school. The purpose of my visit was to see whether the school could be recommended for a second renewal of the Basic Skills Quality Mark Award.
Firstly, Mr Osbourne gave me a tour of the school and I was able to visit all the classrooms. I was introduced to all the adults that work in the school and of course all the children. Perhaps you will remember me coming into your classroom. I saw some really exciting mathematics in the lessons and everyone seemed to be enjoying the activities.
The second part of my visit involved speaking to Mr Osbourne who explained to me all the wonderful work that has been going on in your school.
I was very impressed and have recommended that Cwm Glas Primary School be put forward for the renewal award.
You should hear from the Basic Skills Agency soon and receive a plaque for the wall.

Hi to everyone at Cwm Glas Primary!! We just wanted to say thanks for making us all welcome when we came to your school and even though we weren't there very long, we have fond memories of our time there and miss you all.

As a parent of a son in Class 2 I often look at your website for information on what has been happening at the school. I find it informative and love the photo's that appear on a regular basis. I have got some good pictures of Kai which I would not normally be able to get, and can actually find out what he has done rather than the normal answer of "I can't remember".

Very cool web site - in fact the best school web site I have ever seen - would love to come and talk to your web club some time

I can't believe Mr Jenkins, Mrs Banfield and Mrs Owen are still teachers at the school ... I left in 1986 and had Mrs Owen as a teacher in the infants.

I have just finished my teacher training year and I'd like to say a big thank you for making me so welcome at Cwm Glas. Although I was only with you for a week, it was definitely the most enjoyable school experience I had and I learned a lot from all of you. I was training to be a teacher in a comprehensive school but and it has made me seriously think about being a primary school teacher instead.
I was hoping to get down to see you all before the end of term because I have made something as a small thank you present to everyone at Cwm Glas. Never mind - it's a good excuse to come down at the beginning of next term! Have a great summer holiday everyone.
