On Thursday 3rd February, our HSA organised a special Tuck Shop to raise funds for the Haiti Earthquake victims. Everyone donated generously and our final total was £113. This will be rounded up to £120 by our HSA. Well done to everyone! All these children achieved 100% attendance for the Autumn Term 2009 Excellent, keep it up! CHILDREN IN NEED 2009 Click on the image above to view pics, make full screen for better viewing On Friday 20th November we took part in Children in Need to raise money those less fortunate than ourselves. We held a number of activities to raise money including wearing spots to school, colouring competitions, guess the name of the bear and most importantly a talent contest. Children from every class auditioned to take part in the show and as you can see from the pictures everyone had a brilliant time. 50th Anniversary! On June 29th 2010 Our School will be clebrating our 50th Anniversary! An invitation is extended to all teaching, non-teaching staff, past pupils and those who have had an association with the school over the last 50 years to join us in out celebrations. If you had an i-pod for christmas or already own one then check out this website Storynory. The site contains stories for children of all ages, including fairy stories, modern tales, myths and legends. All the stories can be downloaded to i-tunes and played back on an i-pod or suitable mp3 player. |

We are always looking to take technology forward at Cwm Glas, and this term we have created a new section to our website dedicated to podcasting.

Maggie's Centres Today class 5 and 7 held the harvest assembly first of all the violinist played 2 songs.
Then class 5 and 7 sang and danced to crazy frog. After that they introduced there selfs and they said fruit in welsh. Lastly the woman called Vicki Jones came to collect
the tea, coffee, biscuts and sugar. Maggie's center is a place for people with cancer
to go. Our school has been collecting biscuts, sugar, and coffee and they are making
the centre in singleton hospital.
